Freedom of choice is echoed throughout many years

Some choices bring JOY and some bitter tears

Our freedoms are bought at quite a huge price

May we think on this when we say only a thank you will suffice

This Memorial Day as many in the past

come and go let's let our gratitude forever last

Freedom

Soldiers have fought to keep us safe and free


Sometimes giving lives to win the victory


May we be ever mindful on this Memorial Day


To honor all soldiers for the price they pay.

Drenched

When hindrances beset us
And our path grows dim
The main thing that helps
Is to drench ourselves in Him.

Giving all of myself to Him
to mold me from within.
He shapes me and forms at His will.
May I be obedient and remain still
